I 'm a computer science researcher. I received my degree and M.S. degree in computer science from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in 2001 and 2004. I worked as a researcher in the XLDB Research Team at LASIGE (Large-Scale Informatics Systems Laboratory) from 2001 to 2004, investigating areas in information retrieval, web mining, GIS and search engines. Curiosity took me to industry where I worked until 2007, developing and coordinating some innovative projects. 

I am currently working in the Portuguese Web Archive project at Foundation for National Scientific Computing and I'm a PhD student researching Information Retrieval over Web Archives. I'm also once again a XLDB Research Team' researcher.
